About Me

I'm an avid photographer, very much interested and moved by the concept of photography and what it can achieve. As the cliché goes, a picture says a thousand words and I try to do that with my photography. Instead of having photoblogs that just have images, I prefer the concept I'm adopting now, that has an accompanying text with it, to help tell the story of the photograph.

I believe taking photos in a way that tells a story (or I try to at least), and am constantly inspired by the many amazing photographers around me. From my peers to the blogs and journals I read online, and even Facebook pictures of fellow hobbyist like me is something I can learn from. Although I had my DSLR in 2009, things only started taking off seriously in late 2010. I started being more proactive in seeking out experiences and gaining new techniques. Started shooting full-time RAW in a bid to learn and understand the complexities of taking a great image, from the levels to histograms and so on.

I aspire to do my best and learn as much as I can to improve my photography. I hope you enjoy what you see here and learn something as well.
